I travel for work and frequently put shirts by the shower to minimize wrinkles, i thought this may be a better approach. Not wanting to risk a dress shirt, i tested this on drapes. It works well as a steamer / vertical iron. It released the wrinkles from a recent move and the horizontal creases from the original packaging (which hadn't gone away with hanging in over 2 years). The picture shows the untreated drape on the left and the ironed one on the left. The image may not adequately show the difference, and i'm not someone who typically cares about drapes, but felt compelled to do the other one so they better matched. It's probably adequate to do one shirt, but takes at least 2 fillings per curtain. Finally, i would not use it as a replacement for a regular iron, if for no other reason than there is no temperature control. That said, i would recommend this steamer.
This steamer surprised me with how good it is. It’s compact and folds easily, perfect for travel or small spaces. I love that it has both water and waterless options, and the on and off function makes it super convenient. It heats up fast and comes with its own base, which keeps everything neat and easy to use. For the price, it’s an amazing value, works great and feels well made.
This would be great for anyone who frequently complains about ironing, or even as a white elephant gift, with the holidays coming up. However, the steamer does also function as an iron for those hard-to-reach places such as between buttons. Easily a 5/5 rating.
.. how do i properly use this? My first impression was/is this color is gorgeous! It's lightweight and compact which i absolutely love! Will i take it with me while i travel? Maybe as it probably wouldn't take up a lot of room in my luggage. I do wish the cord length was a little longer as i feel like i have to stand super close to the outlet. It comes with a steamer, a base to set the unit down, and a cup to fill the unit. Overall, i really like this steamer! I hope it lasts a long time. See before v after in the pictures.
